Sara Leisch is the wife of William Leish. Sara graduated from Ben Davis while also attending Vincennes University earning her 2 year certification in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice. Sara comes to us with over 5 years of child care experience. She has a wonderful communication with the school-age children and  believes in providing an uplifting environment of encouragement and providing opportunities of choices through thinking things through as they make independent decisions. We teach biblical principles and strive to create a fun, loving atmosphere with challenge and team work developing their social skills while mixing in outdoor care program, as well as; a theme based day camp summer program, with field trips. We provide bus rides to local schools and provide childcare during fall, spring, and winter breaks.

Learning Skills

In the three’s class, we focus more on academics and preparing the children for structured learning mixed with play. We teach them how to transition from one place to another using lines and using manners while eating, playing, or speaking. We incorporate all 5 senses when teaching so they retain more. Using Bible Based Curriculum, we introduce math, literacy, art, music, science sensory, fine gross motor skills including scissors, tracing letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and name printing. We introduce 3 rotating play centers to teach them how to make independent decisions and understanding concepts of taking turns if centers are full along with sharing, and creative play. They have recess in the morning and in the afternoon. They enjoy story time from the Library Lady and visits from the fire marshal every month as well as teaching them safety. We want them to learn through structure, hands on, and play. Our goal is to provide a fun, loving, safe atmosphere to develop their individual skills and personality in a educational yet playful day.
